May 22 – September 7, 2009 | Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, Montréal
Organized by the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, this exhibition surveys Robert Polidori’s practice through fifty‑nine large‑format colour photographs from key bodies of work produced between 1985 and 2007. The show presents images from series made in places such as Versailles, Beirut, Havana, the Chernobyl exclusion zone, and New Orleans, exploring how environments altered by time, disaster, and human history bear traces of past and present.
