October 22, 2026 – February 12, 2027 | QCC Art Gallery, Queens, New York
Act One: A Century in the Making examines the defining social, political, and environmental transformations of the first 25 years of the 21st century through photography and critical analysis. Featuring work by David Maisel and an international group of photographers, the exhibition addresses climate change, global conflict, migration, race, technology, human rights, and global health. Maisel’s photograph Spiraling—Great Salt Lake (2024) contributes to this broader visual record of a rapidly changing world. Curated by Marc Asnin, the exhibition accompanies a publication bringing together photography and essays by scholars and thinkers.
