Presented by The Jewish Museum on March 5, 2026, this upcoming public conversation will bring together James S. Snyder, Helen Goldsmith Menschel Director, and photographer Elinor Carucci as part of the Museum’s Director’s Talk series. The discussion will focus on the arc of Carucci’s artistic practice, drawing from key bodies of work, including her intimate self-portraits exploring motherhood and the body and her previous exhibition RBG Collars: Photographs by Elinor Carucci, to consider the role of personal narrative in contemporary photography. The program is part of the Museum’s ongoing series of public talks highlighting artists represented in its collection.
