October 9, 2025 – February 22, 2026 | Kunstmuseum Bonn
Organized by Kunstmuseum Bonn, Gregory Crewdson presents a comprehensive retrospective of the artist’s work from the 1980s to the present. Featuring more than 70 photographs, the exhibition traces Crewdson’s development as a leading figure in narrative photography. Known for his elaborately staged “single-frame movies,” Crewdson constructs cinematic scenes that suggest, but never resolve, moments of tension and mystery. The presentation includes key series such as Twilight, Beneath the Roses, and Eveningside, reflecting on themes of isolation, suburban decay, and the psychological undercurrents of American life.
