"Faces in the Crowd: Street Photography" at MFA Boston

Stephen Shore is featured in Faces in the Crowd: Street Photography, a group exhibition at the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, that examines the changing visual language of everyday life in public spaces. The show brings together seminal photographers from several generations — including Garry Winogrand, Helen Levitt, Dawoud Bey, and Stephen Shore — alongside contemporary voices such as Luc Delahaye, Katy Grannan, Amani Willett, and Zoe Strauss. Drawing attention to shifts in technology, subjectivity, and collaboration in the street‑photography tradition, the exhibition reflects on how photographers have responded to evolving urban environments, social dynamics, and modes of seeing.
