Photographer and author Sally Mann will publish a new book titled Art Work: On the Creative Life on September 9, 2025, through Abrams Press. The book includes a combination of text and images, featuring Mann’s photographs alongside journal entries, letters, and reflections on her creative process.
The 272-page volume addresses topics such as artistic development, discipline, chance, and the realities of maintaining a creative career. Art Work follows her earlier memoir Hold Still, which was a finalist for the National Book Award.
