Edwynn Houk Gallery is pleased to present a selection of rare and important photographs from 1920s and 1930s. Vintage masterworks include such iconic images as Dorothea Lange's 'Migrant Mother' and Lewis Hine's 'Powerhouse Mechanic,' alongside prints by Man Ray, Edward Weston, and Tina Modotti. This exhibition also marks the debut of new work by contemporary photographer Valérie Belin. Photographs from the later 20th century by Stephen Shore and Sally Mann are featured as well.
